WW2 US Army M5A1 Stuart Light Tank
The M5A1 Stuart light tank was an improved version of the M3 Stuart light tank which was often critised by its crew for a lack of fire power and general serviceability.
Whilst maintaining the same 37 mm M6 gun it did feature improved V8 engines, a new twin Hydra-Matic automatic transmission and a resdigned hull that made the tank more efficient to operate.
Overall over 8000 were built of this model although most were used just for recon and screening.
