The M777 is a 155mm light howitzer developed in collaboration between UK and US weapons manufactures.
In standard operating procedure it can fire 2 rounds every minute with the main munition being the 155mm M795 High Explosive Fragmentation at a range of up to 29 to 36km depending on conditions.
The US Armed Forces currently operate over 1000 pieces with most of them seeing action in Afghanistan, Syria and Iraq.
