US Army HMMWV M1025
The High mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle (HMMWV) or Humvee are tactical assault and utility vehicles. First produced in 1984 they eventually replaced the famous WW2 Willys Jeep and several other Vietnam era 4 Wheel drives like the M151.
During the gulf HMMWV saw extensive combat and personal transport usage. Despite not being designed for direct combat the changing nature of warfare from conventional to asymmetrical saw Humvees like the M1025 face off against militants in highly urbanised environments of Iraq and Somalia.
This M1025 features a ring mounted M2 50 Cal browning which allows for full 360 degree turning. Vehicle protection is light although all seats are fully protected by a metal cage which can resist small arms fire. Additionally comes with a powerful 6.2 L turbo diesel engine at 150HP which allows it reach top speeds of 55MPH when fully loaded or 70MPH on a light load
