The M24 Chaffee was an American designed light tank that entered service during the latter parts of world war two. The tanks were intended to be used in a supplementary role as recons and scouts and eventually replaced the mostly obsolete M5 Stuart light tank
The 3 man crew will be much appreciative of the improved off road handling of the tank and the more powerful 75mm gun instead of M5 Stuarts 37mm pom pom gun.
