The Sd.Kfz. 234/1 was a German 8×8 heavy reconnaissance armoured car used from 1944–45. It weighed about 11.5 tonnes, reached 90 km/h, and was powered by V12 diesel. Its main armament was a 20 mm KwK 38 L/55 autocannon with a coaxial 7.92 mm MG 42, while armour reached 30 mm at the front.
