WW2 Defence of Moscow "Khimki"
A satellite city on the NW border of the Moscow administrative boundry Khimki is the nearest the Germans ever got to Moscow some 10km away from the city center.
A light german reconnaissance unit clashed with Soviet forces around this city and were ultimately expelled from it as the German unit had completely outpaced its freindly logistics and supply wagon.
