Russian Armed Forces T-80BVM Main Battle Tank

The T-80BVM is the result of a Russian modernisation program for the T-80BV that began in 2017 with the aim of improving the performance capabilites of the tank which was widely avaible in Russian storage. 

Key upgrades include a new 125mm gun 2A46M-5 which features an autolaoder capable of firing Depleted Uranium, Tungsten rounds and the 9K119M  ATGM. Improvements were also made to the gas turbine engine aswell as the addition of  "Relikt" ERA, Irtysh fire control system and the Sosna-U thermal gunner's sight.
