Russian Armed Forces T-14 Armata Main Battle Tank

The T-14 Armata Main Battle Tank, Russia's latest 4th generation MBT, has been in continuous production since 2016. Currently, over 70 tanks are undergoing testing with the 2nd Guards Tamanskaya Motor Rifle Division.

Unlike its predecessors, such as the T-72, the T-14 brings a revolutionary change through its focus on troop safety and advanced electronic systems. Its unique unmanned turret, equipped with a 125mm 2A82-1M smoothbore cannon, is capable of firing a variety of munitions, including ATGMs and cluster munitions.

The tank's protection is enhanced by the Malachit dual-explosive reactive armour (ERA) system and the Afghanit (Russian: Афганит) active protection system (APS).
