The 76th Guards Air Assault Division is an elite airborne division within the Armed Forces of Russia.
Equipped with tank, engineering and hospital battalions among others the 76th VDV is used when air insertion operations are required as part of military combat. They were recently deployed in 2022 as part of a helicopter assault on various regions of Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv.
