PLAGF PHL 03 Multiple Rocket Launcher Artillery

The Chinese ground forces developed and then deployed the PHL 03 Mutiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) in 2004. It consists of 12 tubes capable of firing a 300mm rocket upto a range of 130km with the standard varient (BRC4). 

The standard rocket from a PHL 03 has a 280kg warhead and can deliver different munitons like high-explosive fragmentation (HE-FRAG), fuel-air explosive, and cluster warheads with anti-armor/ anti-personnel capabilities. 

The PLAGF currently operate 175 of these systems.
