The T26E4 “Super Pershing” was an experimental American heavy tank developed during the final stages of World War II. It was a variant of the M26 Pershing, modified with extra armor and a powerful 90 mm T15E1 high-velocity gun designed to counter German heavy tanks like the Tiger II.
Only a few prototypes were built, and one saw limited combat in Europe in 1945.
