Famed for thier military disciplince training and tactics the well drilled Prussians had in the 18th centures achieved numerous victories against their European neighbours like the Austrian Habsburgs. However by the early 19th century times had changed and the revolutionary General Napoleon Bonaparte had been able to subdue Prussia and its army. 

Despite this when it comes to the Invasion of Russia a few years later Napoleon called upon 20000 Prussians to fight in the French coalition.
