US Army M142 HIMARS Desert Testing Configuration

Entering Service in 2010 the M142 HIMARs is a multiple launch rocket system capable of firing a variety of 227mm rockets as well as the capability to fire ATACMS and SDBs.
This variant is mounted on a unarmoured truck frame during testing periods in the early 2000s and not on a standard FMTV M1140 truck frame.
