Enterting service in 2007 with the Russian Army. The S-400 Surface to Air Missile (SAM) system is among the best air defence systems in the world.

The S-400 is capable of firing a variety of missiles with ranges reaching upto 400km and 30km in altitude with the 40N6E missile. These missiles are guided by powerful radars like the Nebo-M VHF  Resonance-NE radar station.
