PLA Type-81(83) MLRS

The Type-81(83) is a Multiple Launch Rocket System MLRS that is mounted on a 6x6 truck. It is capable of firing 122mm spin stabilized rockets that either employ High Explosive (HE) warheads or Steel Fragmentations warheads. These rockets have capable ranges of up to 20km.

The Type-81(83) MLRS is heavily influenced by the Soviet BM-21 Grad a Cold War relic that continues to survive the test of time.
