Israeli M60 Magach Main Battle Tank

The M60 Magach is the Israeli modification on the standard M60 Patton supplied by West Germany and the USA during the 1970s.
The harsh lessons learned from the Yom Kippur War meant that all future Magach 6 models were equipped with explosive reactive armour (ERA) plates at the front hull and turret of the tank. Additionally an extensive suit addition was provided for the tank which covered fire control, thermal night sights and smoke launchers.
The M60 Magach was extensively fielded during the 1982 Lebanese conflict.
