German Bundeswehr Flakpanzer Gepard 'SPAAG'

The Flakpanzer Gepard is twin barrel rapid firing Self Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun (SPAAG) capable of operating in all weather conditions. The main armament is a 2 x 35 mm Oerlikon GDF autocannon capable of firing Frangible Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot rounds at a range of 5.5km
The Bundeswehr operated Gepard features "S" and "Ku" as well as laser rangefinders to help search and track hostile air units.
The German military would end producing close to 400 Gepards in order to bolster their short range air defence capabilities.
