French Airforce Rafale B Multirole Fighter

First entering service in 2001 the French Airforce Rafale B is a multicapable fighter intended for air supremacy, close ground support, depth of field strikes, intereceptions and forms part of the French nuclear triade.

The Rafale B is equiped with the RBE2 AA active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar which allows them to spread their signal across different frequencies whcih allows them to spot targets better whilst blending more with the background radio noise. 

The Rafale B fighter is also equiped with numerious hardpoints which allow it carry weapons like the Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG low-observable air-launched cruise missile, the (AASM) HAMMER Air-to-Ground Missile and the MBDA Meteor beyond-visual-range Air to Air missiles.
