Designed as a replacement for the older Panzer III and IV models. The Panther had great cross country and long distance engagement rates thanks to reliable gun. The Panther Ausf.D featured a powerful 7.5cm KwK 42L/70 main armament combined with excellent frontal sloped armour which reached almost 100mm on the frontal plates.
This particular version of the Panther belonged to the 7th company of the 39th regiment based around Kursk, German Eastern Front 1943. It features an octopus pattern camoflage.
