The Marder III H (Sd.Kfz. 138) was a German World War II tank destroyer based on the Panzer 38(t) chassis. It was armed with a 75mm PaK 40 anti-tank gun mounted in the middle for better balance and had 10–15mm of armour, offering limited protection.
Powered by a AC/2 6-cylinder engine, it had a top speed of 42 km/h and a range of 190 km. Despite its open-top design making it vulnerable, it was an effective stopgap measure against heavily armoured Soviet tanks like the T-34.
