WW2 Soviet BT-7 Calvary Tank
1,234.00TL
The lightly armoured mobile BT-7 was a mass produced pre-war Soviet tank design widely dispersed among infantry divisions. It averaged around 30mm of frontal armour and either a 76mm short barrelled gun or a 45mm high velocity gun intended for AT duties.
The infantry support nature of the tank became evident during operation Barbarossa when over 2000 of these tanks were lost to hard hitting German tank divisions in the first 12 months of operation Barbarossa .
Despite this the tank continued to see service with the Soviet Red army but in decreased numbers.
