WW2 Soviet Naval Infantry x10

As WW2 dragged on more and more Soviet Navy crew become entangled in the land conflict that was occurring on the western borders of the Soviet Union.  Soviet Naval Infantry were deployed across the entire front from Odessa to Leningrad and also to the defence of Moscow. 

In late 1944 Russian Naval infantry would conduct amphibious assaults on several Estonian islands as part of Operation Moonsund in order to clear out the German 23rd Infantry division which had been cut of from the rest of the German forces. 

By the end of WW2 over 300000 Naval sailors had fought for the protection of the motherland.
