PLAAF Xian H-6K Strategic Bomber

First introduced in 1969 the H-6 bomber series intended to give the Chinese military heavy bomber capabilities during the cold war hostilities. After falling out of favour in the 80s and 90s in the last decade China has refocused its long range bomber capabilities.

This culminated in the modernisation of the H-6 to H-6k strategic bomber which features powerful D-30 twin turbo engines, improved avionics, mid air refuelling capabilities, air to ground radar and the ability to carry x4 CJ-10A cruise missiles that can be equipped with nuclear warheads.
