WW1 British BL 9.2 Inch Heavy Siege Howitzer

The BL 9.2-inch Howitzer was a British heavy siege artillery piece used extensively in World War I, firing a massive (130 kg) high-explosive shell from its 9.2-inch (234 mm) barrel. The improved Mk II version had a muzzle velocity of up to 1,600 ft/s (490 m/s) and a maximum range of 13,935 yards (12.7 km), making it one of the British Army’s most powerful counter-battery weapons.
