While historical records of China date back all the way to 1250BC it wasn't until 221BC around 1000 years later that a dynasty was established and lead by Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of Qin.

The first emperor of China was by many accounts a reformist introducing standard currency units, uniformed writing and more fundamentally strengthening the military might of Imperial China by equipping its soldiers with the latest weaponry and advanced training.
