The Fokker Dr.I by 1918 was a widely used Triplane of the German empires airforce. It was a direct challenger to the British Sopwith Triplane fighter which entered service in 1917 and proved effective against older German fighters.
The Fokker Dr.I had a maximum speed of 180km/h and was armed with 2 × 7.92 mm Maschinengewehr 08 "Spandau" machine guns.
This specific Fokker Dr.I is the famous "Red Barron" fighter that was piloted by the German Ace Baron von Richthofen
