The Su-47 is an expermimental supersonic fighter jet produced by the Russian Airforce in the late 90s. The distinguishing feature of the fighter jet is its iconic forward-swept wing design that gave it excellent agility and manuevering stabiity when engaging in aireial dogfights.
The Su-47 if it had gone into serial production would have likely served as an interceptor with an armament consisting of the Vympel R-series air to air missiles.
