WW2 Japanese Kyūshū J7W Shinden Fighter
CHF 23.00
The Magnificent lightning fighter began development in 1943 after Commander Masayoshi Tsuruno of the Imperial Japanese Navy suggest a radical design like the Shinden could be effective in intercepting B-29 Superfortress bombing raids.
Its radical design of placing wings in the rear of the fuselage intended to give it better air manoeuvrability and ability to upgrade to a more powerful engine.
Despite the promise only 2 prototypes were ever built and none ever saw combat.
