WW2 German Jagdpanzer 38 "Hetzer" Tank Destroyer

In the later stages of WW2 the German military high command began creating a variety of tank destroyers based on the chasis of mostly obsolete tanks. The Hetzer was the result of mounting a 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48 anti-tank gun on the chasis of a Panzer 38(t).
The Hetzer featured a sloped armour profile aswell as a low silhouette that give it an improved defensive capability. In total over 2800 such tanks were produced.
