WW2 German Jagdpanther Tank Destroyer

Affectionately called the "Hunting Tiger" by the Germans. The Jagpanthers were assigned to heavy anti-tank armoured battalions. It featured the respected 8.8 cm Pak 43/3 L/71 long barrelled gun and was built around the chassis and engine of the Panther medium tank thus giving it an excellent power to weight ratio.

During the battles of Normandy a limited number of Jagpanthers from the German 654 Schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung battalion engaged against British break out attempts in France.
