WW2 US Army 82nd Airborne Paratroopers x10
The "All-American" 82nd airborne division initially organised in 1917 specialised in parachute assaults inside hostile enemy territory.
They gained an incredible reputation for the strength they showed during several operations during WW2.
Even before the landings at Normandy the 82nd was already involved in mission Boston which required them to capture the French town of Sainte-Mère-Église and surrounding areas in order to weaken German resolve before the D-day landings.
The 82nd saw further intense action in operation "Market Garden" and the "Battle of the Bulge" which often saw them pitted against the infamous and equally skilled Waffen SS of the German military.
