WW2 German Army Sd.Kfz. 233z APC

The Schwerer Panzerspähwagen Sd.Kfz. 233z was a heavy armoured reconnaissance vehicle of the German armed forces during WW2.

The main role of such a vehicle was to scout ahead for enemy patrols and engage where possible lightly armoured enemy armour and units.

The Sd.Kfz 233z features 15mm of frontal sloped armour to provide protection against small arms fire and artillery shell fragments. This Sd.Kfz. is armed with a 20 mm KwK 30 L/55 autocannon that is capable of firing 200 rounds per minute. This cannon was hugely successful in destroying allied light armoured vehicles and supply trucks
