The German military during WW2 produced over 40000 pieces of Flak 38. The Flak 38 is a 20mm anti aircraft artillery piece. To better deal with aircrafts the German high command decided to combine x4 20mm autocannons in order to lay out suppressive fire against bombers and fighters.
The Flakvierling 38 fired a 20×138mmB HEFS which had an effective range of upto 2.4km.
