The Holy Knights of Jerusalem and Tripoli were detachments of the Knights Hospitaller which formed part of an early Catholic Military order.
The Jerusalem Knights operated within the kingdom of Jerusalem while the Knights Hospitaller in the 16th century were granted the coastal city of Tripoli in exchange for their feaudal services to the Spanish Empire and thus becoming the Knights of Tripoli.
